  That said, the staff are perhaps even more fantastic than their food. I don't normally write reviews, but these folks run a great restaurant and are genuinely good people. We accidentally left our only internationally active cell phone at the restaurant and didn't realize until too late to return until after our 3 days on KI. They went above and beyond helping us get our phone back, ultimately leaving it at the local post office. (The manager was willing to have us stop by his house during their closed day to pick it up. So generous!)

  The food is fantastic (delicious vegan and vegetarian menu items). Honestly, we were traveling in NZ and AU for a month from the U.S. and this was one of our top meals of the trip.

  recommend the Vegetable Pakora, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken & Kadhai Chicken + Super friendly service

  The food was amazing! It took them a while to serve us and then it took 30 mins to get our meals but the butter chicken was unbelievable. Best I've ever had! I think they may have had fill in staff so might explain the slow service.
